Turn an iPod Nano Off

iPods have no conventional on/ff change. They energy up with the slightest touch, which helps make turning the iPod on as basic as touching the menu. Turning the iPod off, even so, can be far more challenging. Waiting for automated shut off wastes battery daily life, and browsing the menus yields no way to end the unit from working. Turning off the iPod Nano, however, is practically as easy as turning it on.

    iPod Nano

    Find the "maintain" or "lock" change at the top rated of your iPod Nano. It will be found on the leading of your gadget on the left facet. Make confident the unit is unlocked. When the system is locked, an orange bar is visible. When it is unlocked, that bar is not visible. The iPod desires to be unlocked in order to ability off.

    Find the "play/pause" buttons. These are situated at the bottom of the management wheel. Press at the "play/pause" area of the wheel and maintain for a number of seconds. Your iPod will energy off. Do not touch the wheel yet again soon after powering off, as this will electrical power the system back again on.

    Find the "maintain" or "lock" change once more. Slide the bar to the locked placement so that the orange bar is visible. This will avert your iPod from powering on in your purse or pocket and throwing away battery time.
